How do quotes work?
What happens after a request is sent, and how pros reply.
When a request is sent, a 6-digit code arrives by email. After confirmation, the request goes to the pros who cover the city and the service. If the request started from a pro's profile, that pro is always included. Requests from the same device are confirmed automatically for 90 days.
Pros see the job details, not the customer's contact details. Up to 5 of them reply with a price and their earliest available date. Each quote appears on the request page as it arrives and is also sent by email.
Next to every quote, the business profile opens and the phone number and email can be shown, so questions can be asked by phone or WhatsApp before deciding. When a quote is chosen, only that business receives the customer's name and contact details. The link in the email is worth keeping: it opens the request and the quotes without a password.
