Safety tips when hiring a pro
Simple rules for payments, IDs and extra charges.
Most jobs go smoothly. These simple rules help when something does not.
Before the job
- Price and scope agreed in writing before the work starts: the quote on khalasna already records the price and date.
- Reviews on the business profile checked. Reviews marked Verified job come from customers who booked through khalasna.
- The technician's ID, or the company name and commercial registration (CR), checked on arrival. Pest control companies should also be approved by the municipality.
- Any building work permit arranged in advance, so the visit is not stopped at the gate.
Payments
- No full payment in advance to someone not yet met.
- For larger jobs, a small deposit for materials is common, against a receipt.
- A payment method that leaves a record, such as card or bank transfer, and the reference kept. Cash only against a receipt.
- For a company or a VAT claim, a tax invoice with the business VAT number requested before booking.
During and after the work
- Any additional work quoted and approved before it starts.
- A receipt with the warranty period, and the old parts kept if something was replaced.
- After the job, a short review helps the next customer.
If something goes wrong, the khalasna team can be reached through the contact page, with the request number.
