Terms of use

These terms apply to khalasna.com (“khalasna”, “we”). By using the site you agree to them.

1. What khalasna does

khalasna is a directory and request service that connects customers with independent home service providers (“pros”). khalasna is not a party to any agreement between a customer and a pro, does not perform the services, and does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality or timing of any work.

2. Customers

• Requests must be genuine and describe a real job.
• By sending a request you agree that the job details are shared with the pros who match it, and that your name and contact details are shared with the pro whose quote you choose. Opening a pro’s phone number or email shares nothing about you.
• Prices shown on khalasna are typical ranges for information only. The final price is agreed directly with the pro.

3. Pros

• You must own or be authorised to manage the business you list or claim.
• Information on your profile – services, prices, areas, hours, photos – must be accurate and yours to publish.
• Customer contact details received through khalasna may be used only to respond to that request.
• We may hide or remove profiles that receive repeated complaints, contain false information or misuse customer data.

4. Reviews

Reviews must reflect a genuine experience with the business. Service providers may not write reviews of their own business, ask friends or staff to write them, or offer discounts, gifts or other rewards for reviews; doing so can lead to removal of the affected reviews, the review label and the listing. Service providers cannot edit or remove reviews and may reply once in public. We may remove reviews that contain personal information or offensive content, are copied, or are unrelated to the service, as described in How reviews work. Reviews are not removed for being negative.

5. Fees

Using khalasna is free for customers, and khalasna never takes a commission on jobs. A business account is free: profile, reviews and job requests. The optional Pro plan is paid by the business, monthly or yearly:

• Pro adds instant job requests, unlimited quotes, phone and WhatsApp on the public profile, a higher place in search results and the full photo gallery. Free accounts receive new requests after a short delay and a limited number of quotes per month; the current limits are shown in the business dashboard.
• Paid plans start separately for each service and city. Before that, during the launch period, every business has all Pro features for free. Businesses with an account receive at least 7 days’ notice by email before paid plans start in their area.
• Businesses that joined before paid plans started in their area keep a permanent founding discount on Pro.
• Payments are processed by Stripe; card and wallet details are handled only by the payment processor. Pro does not renew automatically; a reminder is sent before the period ends. Paid periods are not refunded, except where required by law.
• Monthly Pro guarantee: if a business receives fewer job requests in a paid month than the threshold shown in the dashboard, the next month is added free of charge.
• Pro does not buy reviews or ratings, and a higher place in search results never overrides the review score.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, khalasna is not liable for loss or damage arising from services performed by pros or from agreements between customers and pros.
